The original Rock Creek district included the Falcon Mine area, situated at the head of Rock Creek, about 10 miles west of Tuscarora. Hog Creek Campground is located in Lake Thunderbird State Park. It is a scenic place to camp and offers both primitive tent camping as well as RV/trailer sites. Some of the sites are reservable and some remain available on a first come, first serve basis.
